brethren of the road

i went on a weekend camping/skateboard trip with a bunch of bro's on our bikes. it felt like i was 500 miles away from home, but i was only an hour away.

snakes on the road!

this thing gave me the creeps. it was out in yellowwood state forest. it's a timber rattlesnake. that means it can kill you! it was at least 4ft long and 3 inches in diameter.

wheat pennies

i've been collecting wheat pennies since i was a little kid. they other day maggie's grandparents were cleaning out their house and i got a fifty-roll of them. defiantly the biggest amount i've gotten at once. later in the day i was planting a tree in our front yard. while digging up soil, i found another one from "1939". strange coincidence? is this some kind of sign? should i drop everything become a coin collector? should i bury my money in the backyard? what the hell!
