swap meet finds
the swap meets around there are hit or miss when i comes to the things i'm into. yesterday's was pretty good. the best find was not even motorcycle related, it was the bicycle in the photos. the handlebars are old Cook Bros. from 70's. the forks are 26 inch BMX style. i've wanted to build a BMX style 26 inch cruiser for a while. these parts are going to be what gets it off the ground.

spring break-skatopia
it had been years since i last visited skatopia. we were the only visitors out there, so it was really mellow. i hadn't heard much about brewce since his accident. it was good to see him ripping the bowl. i swear that guy is a super human. his skateboard collection is insane. it now spans 5 rooms in is house. i could have spent a day just looking at it.

spring break #2
day two we drove to fayettville VA. we skated the park for a few hours and ate at a local mexican restaurant. i ordered the most expensive item on the menu, since jersey drew was paying. the first photo below is of grant, who always up before everyone. i think this was his first big skate trip. hopefully he caught the travel bug.

spring break day 1
took off for a few days on a skateboarding trip with tim, bread, ryan, ben, and grant. first stop was wheeling WV where we met up with a car load of jersey kids that included drew, willy, dylan, phil, and jesse. the park in wheeling is really fun. lots of big stuff and as bread would say "plenty else to pitter patter around on".
we ended up with an epic camping spot the first night. up in the pines with no one around.
