nude bowl-1999

my friend loaned me a VHS tape converter so i've been going to town. this is footage from a trip that a bunch of us took in the spring of 1999. we basically did a loop around the country with sometimes 12 people in a ford aerostar mini van. the nude bowl was one of our destination stops. our plan was to camp out at the bowl. after being up there for an hour or so, a desert rat/tweaker/psycho showed up. in footage @1:30 you can see him leaned over the coping. he had prison release papers and was talking about weird stuff like what a human head looks like when it explodes. it was so creepy that we decided not to camp.

flashback-1998

finally transferred this footage. did it ghetto style, filmed off the tv screen. summer of '98 i had a ramp jam at the ramp in my parent's barn. i think this was the first time i met gary collins. cru barged the session. i still had both knees. McGinness pretty much owned it that day. total salad days...

first of all i'm kicking myself for forgetting my good camera. bands with so much gnarly history and mystique don't come around these parts very often. plus, how often do you get to see a bass player named Necrobutcher make googly eyes and a 18-year old groupie from louisville.

My friend Scott bought a bar a few months ago in Fishers. Friday they had a wresting event to benefit the state fair accident victims. Some of the wrestlers were WWE stars like Billy Gunn, Eugene, Kevin Thorn, and Ariel. I was able to get behind the barricade and take photos.
