i can't believe i spent the last 2 weeks reading this garbage. i guess if an egotistical asshole writes a memoir, he's going to come off as an egotistical asshole. ok, we all know that he's bitter over getting kicked out of metallica early on and he wants recognized for his contributions. blah, blah, blah. it's like being pissed at your high school girlfriend who dumped you(when you probably deserved it) 15 years ago. what blew me away is he tries to take credit for contributing to slayer.
that's basically what the book is full of. one sided ego boosts and a constant stream of throwing old band members and managers under the bus (he has had 21 different members in megadeth). i guess i was just hoping for a little more, maybe some more insight. instead i lost some respect for him as a person.
