went to a swap meet today in lebanon, grant was all "dang that is guy is really tall". i said "who is it, rik smits?". turned around and it was. totally forgot he got way into into motorcross after he retired from hoops. might have to invite him to bike night sometime.

i made maple syrup again this year. the weather was really weird and i got my taps out to late, so i didn't get much. this year i tapped only sugar maples, no silvers. there truly is a difference in taste.

the early 90's

i found another old video and transferred some of it. this one is called "concrete curve-5th generation". a guy named wayne (can't remember his last name) who was from michigan put it out around 1993. in here you'll find some old clips of adam beltz, partanen, and chad knight as well as skateparks that are long gone like rotation station, the turn, and sunsports. it's a good representation of skateboarding around that time.
