mayhem fest

went to see Anthrax, Slayer, and Motorhead, but people watching is where it's at. saw so much debauchery, boobs, and fights. i swear every dirt-ass from small town Indiana comes out to this.

i've seen alot of good bands in the last few weeks. last night was slayer (thanks to andy for the tickets). as with every other time i've seen them, they brought it. they played a "greatest hits" set. aside from playing "Psychopathy Red", they are still keeping the new album under lock and key. that's fine with me, i just want hear the old shit. "he's old as shit!" that's that what the guy next to us yells about Tom Aryaya when we caught the first glimpse of him. the guy is right, Araya is pushing 50. He leaves the blood wrenching scream at the beginning of "angle of death" for the crowd to handle. man, i would love to have a time machine for shit like that.
